One of the worst things about television today, and in particular with reality television, is we see all of these people at the pinnacle of their careers. We see the height of success, when everything seems so easy and to flow so naturally. What they don’t show in these television shows is the years and years of hard work that was often put in to reach those heights. These people have outworked everyone. They’ve created their own luck, and if you want to be successful, you’ll create your own luck too.
There are examples of greatness all around us. Take a look at someone near to you that you think is successful and ask them how they did it. They may act like it was easy, but if you dig deeper you’ll see they had a drive and a passion to succeed that not many others had. The key to being a successful businessperson is finding that inner drive.
