If you’ve ever tried to purchase land you know what a pain in the butt it can be trying to get financing from the bank. In most cases banks are reluctant to lend money on undeveloped land. If they do it all, they often want at least 50% down before they’ll even consider making the loan. In this day and age when so many people have lost their jobs and are struggling financially, most people don’t have good enough credit to qualify for this type of loan anyway.
If you are in this boat but still are interested in purchasing land, there’s a place where you can buy land with no credit checks. About 30 miles east of the town of Klamath falls lies a place called Bly mountain. A man by the name of Michael Long and his wife own several parcels of Oregon land and they sell them for very reasonable prices with no credit checks, low down payments, and low monthly payments.
This land for sale in Oregon average’s about 2 1/2 acres in size. Most of them have lots of trees and vegetation on them. This is truly undeveloped land that is ready and waiting for you to do with as you please. The properties are zoned residential for one home. Manufactured homes are okay to install on these properties as well. The properties are also zoned for large animals. So if you enjoy horses, you can have your horses on the property.
These lots start at around $8500 and go up to around $22,000 depending upon where the lot is and whether or not it has power and phone on it. Some of the lots do have power and phone while others do not. Many of the homeowners who live on the mountain currently use solar for their power needs and propane for their cooking and heating needs.
