One other note: It seems also silly to mention, but as this camera is aimed at the beginner or intermediate photographer, it’s worth a mention – there is a dedicated recording button on the rear of the Nikon D3100 that really makes it easy to shoot videos without having to wade through menus on the LCD display like some other digital cameras require you to do.
